Privacy Policy
Lulu ("the app," "we," "us") is an AI manifestation coaching app operated by CoupleDev. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: everything you share with Lulu exists to personalize your calls, your voice recordings stay private to your account, and deleting your account deletes your data.
1. What we collect
- Account information — your email address, name, and sign-in provider (Apple or Google).
- What you tell Lulu — your onboarding answers (your goals, your dream-life description, what has felt in the way), your manifestations, and things you share during calls. This is the heart of the product: it is used to personalize every session.
- Voice recordings — when you speak during a call, your audio is recorded and transcribed so Lulu can respond and so your affirmation can be confirmed. Recordings are stored in private storage accessible only to your account, never made public, and deleted with your account.
- Purchase information — your subscription status and purchase history, processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.
- Usage data — how you use the app (screens, sessions, feature usage), collected via PostHog to improve the product.
- Device data — push notification tokens (so Lulu's calls can ring), device timezone (so calls arrive at your local time), and basic device/OS information.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: schedule and place your calls, generate your personalized session scripts and affirmations, transcribe and respond to what you say, and remember context between calls.
- To process your subscription and unlock the service you paid for.
- To send the notifications you enabled (call rings, missed-call reminders).
- To understand usage and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. AI processing
Lulu's coaching is powered by AI. To provide the service, the things you share (your onboarding answers, manifestations, call transcripts, and voice recordings for transcription) are processed by OpenAI's API to generate your session content, transcribe your speech, and produce Lulu's voice. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Data is processed on infrastructure located primarily in the United States.
5. Retention and deletion
- Your data is kept while your account is active.
- Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) closes it immediately. For 30 days you can restore everything by signing back in; after 30 days your data — including all voice recordings — is permanently deleted.
- You can also request deletion by email (below).
6. Your choices and rights
- Edit what Lulu knows about you in Settings (profile, manifestations, memories).
- Turn notifications off in iOS Settings at any time (calls can't ring without them).
- Delete your account in the app, or contact us to access, correct, or delete your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR — we honor requests regardless of where you live.
7. Children
Lulu is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
