Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Lulu app, operated by CoupleDev ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using Lulu, you agree to them.
1. What Lulu is — and isn't
Lulu is an AI-powered motivational and lifestyle companion for your manifestation practice: scheduled coaching calls, personalized affirmations, and guided rituals.
Lulu is not therapy. Lulu is not a medical device, a mental-health service, or a substitute for professional care of any kind, and she does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis in the U.S., call or text 988.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (and meet the minimum age of digital consent where you live).
- You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you share.
- One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Subscriptions
- Lulu offers auto-renewing subscriptions (for example weekly or annual), billed through your Apple ID account.
- Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices may change; changes apply from the next billing period after notice.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
4. Your content
You own what you share with Lulu (your answers, manifestations, and recordings). You grant us the limited license needed to process that content to operate the service — generating your sessions, transcribing your speech, and remembering context between calls — as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use your content for anything unrelated to providing and improving Lulu.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break, probe, or overload our systems; no reverse engineering; no using Lulu to harass anyone or to violate any law; no scraping or reselling the service or its content.
6. Our content
The app, its design, scripts, audio, and branding belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app; it doesn't transfer any ownership.
7. No promises about outcomes
Manifestation is a personal practice. Lulu is provided "as is" and "as available," and while we work hard to make her wonderful, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the service, and no promises that any goal, outcome, or result you pursue will occur. AI-generated content can be imperfect; use your own judgment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending things
You can stop using Lulu and delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (4, 6–10) survive termination.
10. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protections of your home jurisdiction still apply to you.
- If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- We may update these terms; for material changes we'll notify you in the app, and continued use means acceptance.
